I will overwhelm 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
